Dark Souls II is a truly special game. Take that as you will! Jokes aside, I have an great passion for all three games in the series, but my heart ultimately lies within the second installment. It is for this reason that I have devoted (what hopefully will become) a substantial portion of my site to this game. On this page you can expect lore theories, build suggestions, and other writings devoted to Dark Souls II. What you can not expect is a walkthrough of Dark Souls II. Several before me have already given detailed and adequate guides to the game in that respect, and there is no need to repeat them. However, if you are in need of such a thing, I endorse both the Dark Souls II wiki at https://darksouls2.wiki.gg as well as Fextralife's.
For simplicity's sake, I will most often refer to Dark Souls 2 as "DS2". For distinguishing between the Scholar of the First Sin and original versions, I will write "SOTFS", but only when it is applicable. If there are no differences between original DS2 and Scholar, I will not make a distinction.

I am a fairly experienced Dark Souls II player. I grew up with this game since my childhood years, and I have played it a fair amount since then. While I am not the most knowledgeable on the game, I do possess a fair bit of understanding of the game's story and world, as well as a respectable amount of playtime.
Overall playtime: 163 hours on Steam
Completion: 1 save completed NG (SOTFS)
